Pilates & Medicinal Yoga Start Monday 28/4

Pilates

Classical Pilates is a training method developed by Joseph Pilates that focuses on strength, flexibility, and body control. It is based on six fundamental principles, emphasizing breathing, core stability, precision, and flowing movements to strengthen the entire body, especially the core muscles.

Pilates not only works with the large muscle groups but also targets the deep muscles at all levels. It is an effective full-body workout where you use your own body as resistance. You will become more flexible, stronger, and develop a better body awareness while coordinating body and mind to achieve total balance.

Lead by Sara Davidsson. Functional Medicinal Yoga

Functional Medical Yoga is a therapeutic yoga method that combines classical yoga techniques with modern medical knowledge. It focuses on breathing, gentle movements, meditation, and relaxation to balance the nervous system and improve both physical and mental health. This form of yoga is a calm, therapeutic variation of Kundalini yoga, where body, soul, and mind are integrated into harmonious balance.

The practice includes breathwork, relaxation, meditation, and soft yoga movements performed while seated, lying down, or standing on soft wool mats. The exercises can be individually adapted and are often used in rehabilitation and stress management. Private sessions are available as a complement.

This spring, we will offer different themed sessions, such as: Better sleep, Stress relief, Burnout recovery, Heart health, and more.

Open to all levels – no prior experience needed.
